The eBussines and eGovernment laboratories are dedicated to research, development and learning activities in the field of e-services, particularly e-business, e-government, e-learning and m-servicii. Both laboratories were established by the IBM contribution. EBA aims to develop cooperation between IBM and the Department of Computer Science from UPB to improve the educational process in e-services technological domain and manufacturing specialists required for the information technology market in Romania. Several activities are conducted here such as advanced training, the development of pilot projects, the dissemination and valorisation of research results, cooperation with other laboratories, centers and companies having similar concerns in the field of e-services and the collaboration with various beneficiaries of the pilot projects. The laboratory of e-Government focuses on research projects related to problems faced by the public sector in the transformation process performed by current governments in their road to the knowledge society. In the laboratory several activities are underway to develop pilot projects (EBA courses, eMall, csJobs, mediHelp, eBanking, eCash, Traffic view, mobile Guide, the Vanet simulator and others) based on modern concepts of e-services. | |
