CSE 2018 – 21st IEEE International Conference
Durring 29-31 October Computer Science Department has organized the C21st IEEE International Conference on Computational Science and Engineering.
The Computational Science and Engineering area has earned prominence through advances in electronic and integrated technologies beginning in the 1940s. Current times are very exciting and the years to come will witness a proliferation in the use of various advanced computing systems. It is increasingly becoming an emerging and promising discipline in shaping future research and development activities in academia and industry, ranging from engineering, science, finance, economics, arts and humanitarian fields, especially when the solution of large and complex problems must cope with tight timing schedules. This year’s edition will take place in Bucharest, Romania, between 29 and 31 October, 2018, the year that marks 100 years since the formation of the modern Romanian state.
CSE 2018 is the next event, in a series of highly successful International Conferences on Computational Science and Engineering, held mainly as the International Workshop on High Performance Scientific and Engineering Computing for 13 editions, mostly in conjunction with International Conference on Parallel Processing (ICPP), as COATA-98 (Orlando, USA, 1998), HPSEC-99 (Fukushima, Japan, 1999), HPSEC-00 (Toronto, Canada, 2000), HPSEC-01 (Valencia, Spain, 2001), HPSEC-02 (Vancouver, Canada, 2002), HPSEC-03 (Kaohsing, Taiwan, 2003), HPSEC-04 (Montreal, Canada, 2004), HPCSE-04 with WCC-04 (Toulouse, France, 2004), HPSEC-05 (Oslo, Norway, 2005), HPSEC-06 (Columbus, USA, 2006) and CSE-08 (São Paulo, Brazil, 2008). The previous CSE-09, CSE-10, CSE-11, CSE-12, CSE-13 and CSE-14 were held in Vancouver, Canada, 2009, Hong Kong, China, 2010, Dalian, China, 2011, Paphos, Cyprus, 2012, Sydney, Australia, 2013, Chengdu, China, 2014, Porto, Portugal, 2015, Pairs, France, 2016 and in Guangzhou, China, 2017.
CSE 2018 will be held in Bucharest, Romania on 29 – 31 October, 2018. It is to bring together computer scientists, industrial engineers, and researchers to discuss and exchange experimental and theoretical results, novel designs, work-in-progress, experience, case studies, and trend-setting ideas in the areas of advanced computing for problems in science and engineering applications and inter-disciplinary.
