The course presents computer-aided design tools (Computer Aided Design - CAD) and design tools for software applications (Computer Aided Software Engineering-CASE). This kind of tools are frequently used in: various fields of design, generation of CASE tools and facilities they offer, methods of comparison and evaluation tools CAD / CASE. During the course we will perform demonstrations using ORCAD design (design schemes will be digital and analog circuits, and wiring will be designed to simulate the operation of circuits), will design an XCASE database and develop a  mini database application using tools provided by Oracle CASE. Students will do homework by designing educational applications using powerful CAD / CASE tools.
