Developing French knowledge (grammar, lexis, acts of speech) with a view to forming and improving the current and professional communication competence: ability to understand messages, comments, etc in spoken and written language (at levels A2-B1 in EU terms); ability to write a message (email, SMS),letter of intent, CV, etc; ability to participate in a conversation; ability to introduce oneself on a job interview.

Syllabus:

• Understanding the general meaning of a text edited in standard language.
• Answering to questions on the basis of a text.
• Formulating questions on the basis of a text.
• Revising and consolidating morphology : the verb.
• Acquiring general French lexis.
