Virtual Instrumentation

The based elements acknowledgment of the intelligent measuring and hardware-software control systems. Virtual instrumentation concept. The programming environment presentation used to achieve the virtual instrumentation HPVEE, Labview  Algorithms used to create the virtual instruments. Communication drivers needed to ensure the interface of the measuring instruments with a computer. The acknowledgement of the computer assisted measuring techniques. The implementation of the computing technique into the measuring intelligent systems and the instruments programming of a programmable interface. The program of the programmable controllers used for the remote control and metering remote systems of the industrial processes. The utilization of the programmable controllers into data acquisition systems.

Syllabus:

  • General notions regarding the complex measuring and control systems; Presentation of the program environment used to achieve the virtual instrumentation HP VEE, Lab View.
  • Algorithms for the virtual instrumentation. Communication interfaces (serial, parallel).
  • Program the instruments with programmable interface (SCPI).
  • Models of acquisition instruments (multimeter, oscilloscope) and models of generating instruments (signal source, signal generator).
  • Programming - in LADDER language the programmable controllers in the remote control and remote metering of the industrial processes.
